Literally!! For me it is a pain in the neck, back, hips, and shoulders. I have chronic pain and thankfully I only work from home, in my home office so I can take a break from my work when I need to but there are so many that work in an out of the home office setting and dealing with pain is not fun and can take a toll on a persons body and mental state.
I am a blogger and work from home. I sit for sometimes up to 16 hours a day at my computer and it really can take a major toll on my body. Break Through Your Pain is a great resource for anyone who has an office job. You learn how to take care of your body and help yourself be productive and pain free. For me, I take some breaks, lay on my floor and stretch my whole body. I take time to concentrate on my neck and shoulder stretches as well as just giving myself the attention I need to my daily workouts to help keep my body happy. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and so I have special things I do daily to try to keep my pain in check. Some days are better than others but for the most part I know my limit and try to adhear to it. I also bought a better chair and arranged things at my desk that are more user friendly for me. So, sometimes it is the little things one can do that really make a big difference in how we feel when doing our jobs.
