Wholesome Fast And Easy Meal Options Like Annie’s
Available At Sam’s Club
Are you someone that is always on the go? These days life can keep you pretty busy, whether that be taking kids to practice, work, running errands or just about anything life can throw at you. But dealing with a busy life does not mean we have to give up wholesome meals just because we need to be able to make them fast. Places like Sam’s Club make it easy to have fast, easy options on hand without compromising quality.
I am not just talking about Sam’s Club produce and deli areas either. While they do have a great selection of that, they also have a nice selection of other wholesome items too. Such as Annie’s products and other items in the grocery area. These are shelf stable options that you can stock your pantry with so that you always have them on hand.
One of my favorite go-to pantry items is one of Annie’s organic products. It is macaroni and cheese shells with real aged cheddar! They are great on their own if you have a craving for mac and cheese. But if you are looking for a little twist check out the recipe we came up with. It is kind of a cross of a pasta salad and mac and cheese. My family goes crazy over this wholesome but simple easy dish.
In-store Demos & Shopping Online:
I also love the fact that Sam’s Club often has in-store demos. You can see new items and they give you extra little ideas on ways to use them. Don’t know about you, but I love things like that as it can be hard sometimes coming up with new ideas and not getting stuck in the same old rut.
One of the other great things that I love is that you can shop Sam’s Club online and pickup in the club! Let me tell you, that really comes in handy when you have a busy schedule or a bunch of kids you do not want to lug around the store.
Ready to check out this new recipe? Let’s get started!
- 1 Box Annie’s Shells & Real Aged Cheddar
- 6 Cups Water
- 3 Tbsp Milk
- 1/2 Head Broccoli Florets (about 5 oz)
- 1 Cup Tomatoes (I used grape tomatoes cut in half)
- 1/4 Real Bacon Bits
- First, you want to make the pasta. Add six cups water to medium saucepan. Add in the pasta from the box and bring to a boil.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally until tender and pasta is done.
- Then drain pasta.
- Mix milk and cheese from the box into the warm saucepan. After you have it fully mixed, you can add the well-drained pasta in.
- Now add in your bacon, broccoli, and tomatoes. Be sure to mix it well until everything is fully blended.
Note: if you are someone that does not like raw broccoli, you can steam it for 2 minutes before mixing it in.
That is it! You now have a tasty wholesome dish ready to serve. You can serve it warm or it is also good chilled.
Do you have any go-to meals without compromising quality that you use for your family?
