Silverware Wind Chimes can add beautiful sound and charm to your home or garden.
Needle Nose Pliers
Drill a small hole through the end of the handle of each piece of silverware you will be using. Prior to this I used a hammer to pound the spoons and forks flat for a different look, that part is optional.
Use your needle nose pliers to bend the tines of a fork into loops. These will be where you hang the rest of your silverware from. You can also bend the handle into a hook or use wire when you are ready to hang it.
Thread an end of wire through the hole on a piece of silverware, twist end around itself to secure closure. Next add desired beads throughout the length of wire. Repeat the wire end closure on tine loops of your hanging fork. Do this to the rest of your hanging silverware, be sure to make each one a different length.
There are many different ways to bend, twist and change your wind chimes to make them unique and give them a different sound. Play around and see what you like best.
