Well Tony has finished out week 3 of his Nutrisystem Journey. Week 3 was easier, but tougher. Easier because he is learning how to eat properly. Learning more and more what foods are smart carbs, proteins, snacks, etc. He also said he is feeling like it is taking less to satisfy him. That, is very good because just 3 weeks ago Tony could eat a lot!!
The reason this week has also been tougher is because we have been on the go a lot, and when we are out and about we eat out. So, it is not always easy to find something on a menu that will fit into your diet. Yes, lots of places offer healthy choices but when you are used to ordering not so healthy choices it is hard to eat out. Also, we were hit with bad weather. A storm in April, ICK! So, that brings a person down and when down you get shack nasty and snack attacks happen. But, He did great!! We actually ate out on Friday night and he ordered his meal, but only ate half. So proud of him.
This past week has not been the best for exercise. He has done a ton of shoveling, but that isn’t really the exercise he wants to do. In week 2 he was really enjoying his walks/jogs, but then with the snow and icky weather he didn’t get any of that in for week 3. But, moving forward to week 4 and sticking to his goal of wanting to lose 25#. So far he is down 8# in 3 weeks, and is doing great!
Nutrisystem teaches a person all about portion control, what foods to eat to fuel your body and that you need things like water and exercise to help round off a healthy lifestyle.
