Natural Lavender Sugar Scrub
Ingredients I recommend ~
1 cup sugar
¼ cup un-scented body lotion
2 tbsp Vitamin E Oil
5-8 drops lavender essential oil
¼ cup lavender buds
In a dry mixing bowl add sugar, using a sieve to ensure that there are no clumps. Measure out your Vitamin E oil and drizzle one teaspoon at a time over the sugar. Mix oil into the sugar so that it all resembles wet sand.
Add body lotion to the sugar, if you are using a lightly colored lotion you get both the color and the scents in your scrub. Finally, add the lavender essential oil and buds to the scrub, mixing well so that they aren’t all in one portion of the scrub.
Leave scrub out for one hour to dry out a little. Spoon scrub into a jar or bottle and keep sealed when not in use. Two to three spoonfuls of sugar scrub per shower is a great amount to really exfoliate skin.
With the holidays fast approaching you can make this, and put in cute mason jars with decorative labels and give as gifts. There are so many different scent combinations a person can come up with using essential oils. Have fun! You can also get great beauty products and oils at Radha beauty products.
