Add a little something yummy and fun to your warm beverages this fall. Mocha flavored sugar cubes are fun to make and a hit for all. Please do share our recipes 🙂
1 cup sugar
¼ cup powdered cocoa
1-2 tbsp water
Clean and dry your silicone mold tray so that it is prepped and ready.
Combine sugar and powdered cocoa in a small bowl. Make sure that the two are evenly combined.
Add one tablespoon of water to the sugar and use a spoon to mix it in. Try to wet as much of the sugar as possible. Add a little of the second tablespoon of water at a time, adding only enough to make sure that all the sugar has been wet. You don’t want any water sitting, or for the sugar to be liquidy and running.
Spoon sugar into mold shapes and press down till packed. Do this till you have used up all the cocoa and sugar. Place trays in a cool dry place, for 3 to four hours. When they are hard to the touch, carefully pop them out of the trays.
Serve with hot milk for cocoa or with coffee for a mocha flavored drink!
