Trying to stay fit, be fit, live healthy, eat right, and monitor your weight is all hard enough without having to journal things daily. But, for most of us we do have to journal just to keep things in check to see where we are at with our fitness. I have been searching for that perfect app or device to help me keep track of my goals that didn’t take time or much thought process and have to say I found a keeper!! The FitbitOne is a cool little tool that tracks it all. Yes, you still have to log in online or use your app to input your food, water, exercise, etc. But, it tracks it all, tell you where you are at every day for your goal you have set. Cool!! I also enjoy the online community and have met some neat people. It is nice to have encouragement from others from time to time. And,you are awarded badges when you reach certain levels and goals. I like to share my badges on Facebook and Twitter and have gained other followers due to doing so.
I have always been interested in seeing how many steps I take on a daily basis, mainly because I sit for many hours and so it is nice to try and get a certain number of steps. Using my FitbitOne has helped me make sure I get up and groove my body. I will walk up and down my stairs, just to get more levels completed for the day. Or, take some time out from blogging and go for a walk on the treadmill or outside just to reach my goal. Love it! It motivates me.
For years now I have struggled with sleep and always wonder how many times during the night I wake up because I know in the morning I am dog tired and feel like I hardly slept. Well, this cool little device tells you just how fast you fall asleep, how many times you wake up, and how long you slept. I really like that. One night, I woke up 15 times!! Dang!! Not sure how it monitors all that, but it does.
If you have ever checked out this FitbitOne, and just was a bit unsure or hesitant, just get it and see how awesome it is. Yes, I am sure you know this is a review… but I am totally serious!! I don’t rave about things I don’t like or use myself and I love this! Only problem I have right now.. is I forgot it at home! We left for a month long vacation and I was so stressed and in a hurry packing that I remembered my little usb thing for the computer, but not the FitbitOne that clips onto me. Can’t use one without the other.. LOL!! I wish I had it with me because I have been doing a ton of walking and it would have been nice to keep track of all that. I might not be eating the best, but I am actually losing weight!! Sweet!
