½ cup of gouda cheese (shredded or in chunks is fine)
½ teaspoon of salt (or to your liking)
1 tablespoon of cream cheese (softened)
Asparagus Wrap-
Asparagus (edges trimmed)
Uncooked bacon
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take three asparagus and wrap one slice of bacon around the center of them to create a bundle. On a well-greased pan arrange the bundles. Lightly add a pinch of salt and pepper to each bundle.
Cook asparagus for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Sauce directions-
In a pan melt butter over medium heat. When butter is melted, whisk in flour until combined. Next, gently add in milk and salt, whisk gently. Lowering the heat to a slow simmer, add in cream cheese and gouda cheese; gently fold in cheese to the mixture. Let cheese melt, stirring occasionally. Cook for 4-6 minutes, or until cheese mixture is melted. Take off heat and let stand a few minutes before serving immediately with asparagus.
