Summer is here and it’s time to start thinking about your sport outfit choices. No matter what sport or activity you do, looking great and being comfortable go hand in hand. There is nothing attractive about seeing someone in baggy old sweatpants and a ripped t-shirt with dirty sneakers on. Nope, not one bit so don’t be that person!
Let’s get you dressed for sport success this summer.
Everyone needs a great hat or headband for their sport activities. Maybe a sun visor, or baseball cap. A fun saying on a hat is my thing. I and my husband both love all sorts of designs but this one screams me.
Top of your Body
A shirt is a must, if you are a girl. If you are a guy then you can get away with going topless. However, for me I can’t so when I choose a shirt for my sport it all depends on the sport I am doing. If I am walking or jogging then I like something that will wick sweat away.
Maybe I am in my workout room doing a round of weight lifting, in which I need a tank top that is more clingy so it won’t catch on my weights.
We love our evening walks and where we live it can get a bit cooler. If you walk, like us, you know that even walking can make you sweat a bit so a great waffle top like this is a must have in my closet and probably yours.
Bottom of your Body
Walking, jogging, biking, weight lifting, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc., all make your legs do the same but yet different motions. Having a comfortable pair of pants for your sport is key. They can be long pants, shorts, skorts, loose, tight, or whatever but key is you are comfortable.
My husband loves a nice fitting cargo pant for when we are walking or hiking. Something that flows and doesn’t cling to his legs. He is fond of ones like this.
Dress your Feet Too!
Feet are one of the most important areas on your body to think about with any sport. They are the basis to whatever else we do so if they hurt, we can’t accomplish whatever we need to do.
Jogging, walking, hiking, biking, lifting, and just daily activities all use our feet. For all those who love to run the Ultra Boost in SVD is a must for your feet. They provide a great energy return. The more energy you put in the more you get back.
Lightweight, flexible and a one piece design makes them great for men and women. But, just because they are running shoes doesn’t mean you can’t wear them for anything you desire to do.
For Your Goods
Whatever sport it is you are planning to do, you can’t take off without having some essentials with you. Of course you will need snacks, or water, or your phone, or even a change of clothing. If heading to the gym you might need to pack your shoes and fitness clothing with you and change at the gym.
Everyone needs a great bag or backpack to carry all their essentials in. You can find some super cute ones or just simple ones. My favorite is this camo backpack as both my hubby and I can share it. I can’t see him carrying a hot pink backpack and I love camo so why not just share.
Now You Are Dressed
Now that you have all your clothes needed for a great summer of whatever sport it is you choose, you can get to it and enjoy it. Summer here is short, and I know I take every moment I can to get out and build a better me by being active.
