Turkey Cheddar Burgers
1 lb Ground Turkey
1/2 pkg Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Salt and Pepper, to season
1. Combine ground turkey, cheddar cheese and salt/pepper in a medium sized bowl with hands.
2. Form the mixture into four large patties, and wash hands thoroughly.
3. Using a hot skillet, drizzle Olive Oil on pan and place patties in with spatula.
Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until turkey is cooked through.
4. Serve with your favorite burger toppings (pickles, mustard, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, etc.) and enjoy!
A healthier alternative to beef burgers is using ground turkey, or ground chicken. But, keep in mind that with turkey or chicken you want to make sure the burgers are cooked well done. Adding things like the cheese will help keep the burger from getting to dry since a beef burger get’s most of it’s juice from being cooked less time to have a medium done burger.
These are so yummy, and so easy, and can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for a quick lunch for anyone.
