A New Twist on Snacking from Crunchmaster

A new twist on snacking from Crunchmaster.

@LuvCrunchmaster #Crunchmaster

I was already a huge fan of Crunchmaster, but they went and out did themselves and now I am yet a bigger fan!!

Check out these new Popped Edamame Chips.   They are totally to die for!!   I love them, and they will now be a staple in my home.   I don’t buy regular potato chips anymore (haven’t for a while now) because I love snacking and if they are here, I will eat them.  So, I try to keep things in the house like healthier snacks and Crunchmaster is a household name and seen in my cupboards all the time.   I wasn’t to sure if I would like these chips, but with one bite I was sold.   I use them for a regular snack, or to scoop my avocado tuna fish dip at lunch time, or even for a scoop chip with taco meat.  A perfect compliment to any wrap or sandwich as well.  Or a handful just to nibble on when I am in a snack mood.  The Wasabi chips are great with the taco meat.  Perfect pairing.

Crunchmaster Popped Edamame Chips are all natural, gluten free, saturated fat free, cholesterol free, non-gmo project certified.  And, if that isn’t enough, they are delicious too!      Crunchmaster offers many healthy snack choices, but I will be honest.. these are now my top pick.

Crunchmaster is having a great contest right now too.   It is a recipe challenge and you could win $2500.    Check it out on Facebook.

Gluten Free Crispy BBQ Chicken Wings

2-4.5 oz bags Crunchmaster® Multi Grain Sea Salt Crackers
1 cup gluten free barbeque sauce – use divided
1/2 cup honey – use divided
4 lbs chicken wing drumettes

Pour ¾ cup of the barbeque sauce and ¼ cup of the honey in a large plastic storage bag and mix. Add the chicken wings, close the bag and toss several times to coat the wings with the sauce. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray two baking sheets with gluten free, non-stick cooking spray.

Grind the crackers in a food processor or blender to fine crumbs and pour onto a dinner plate. Remove a chicken wing from the marinade, roll in the cracker crumbs to coat and place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken wings. Discard the marinade. Spray the tops of the wings lightly with gluten free, non-stick cooking spray. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until browned and cooked thoroughly (registering 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the wing).

Combine the remaining 1/4 cup barbeque sauce with the remaining 1/4 honey and serve with the wings for dipping. Makes about 30 wings.

Gluten Free Taco Dip

1 can fat-free refried beans

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix

2 cups shredded Mexican blend ( cheddar/Monterey Jack) cheese

1 bag (4.5 oz) Crunchmaster® Roasted Garlic Multi-Seed Crackers

1/2 cup chopped fresh tomatoes

1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions

Optional additional toppings:

1 chopped avocado

3 Tbsp. chopped cilantro

1/2 cup sour cream

Pre-heat oven to 350˚F. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and season with taco mix. Set aside. Spray a 24 oz. Au Gratin dish, or 9” deep dish pie pan with non-stick baking spray. Evenly spread 1 can of fat-free refried beans on the bottom of the dish. Top with ground beef/taco mixture. Sprinkle with Mexican blend cheese. Layer  the Multi-Seed Crackers around the outside of the dish in an overlapping pattern. Cover crackers with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. Bake  at 350˚F for 15 minutes, until cheese melts, and dish is warmed through. Take from oven and remove foil from crackers. Cover with fresh chopped tomatoes and sliced green onions. Serves 8.

Gluten Free Buffalo Wing Dip

1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1/3 cup spread-able cream cheese, soft

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

4 oz. precooked chicken breast, finely chopped

1/3 tsp. hot sauce (Cholula or Tabasco)

In a small mixing bowl, combine sour cream and cream cheese. Blend together well.  Mix in crumbled blue cheese and chopped celery. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, heat chicken breast on medium heat.  Add in the 1/3 tsp. of hot sauce, mixing well until chicken is lightly coated.  Stir continuously on medium heat until the chicken begins to brown, and the sauce begins to adhere to the chicken.

Fold hot chicken into the dip. Serve immediately and spread over Crunchmaster Original Multi-Seed crackers

Crunchmaster multi-seed & multi-grain crackers offer a tasty, gluten free alternative to regular wheat-based crackers and snacks. With a blend of California brown rice and other gluten free grains and seeds, they’re packed with 100% whole grain goodness and oven baked to a light, crispy perfection.  All Crunchmaster products are certified gluten free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO).
