I know I am always preaching to you about living healthy, being fit, exercising, etc. But, I am doing so because it is very important! It has always been important but now so more than ever with all the “bad” things in life that many of us are not aware of. Like additives in our foods, pollution in the air, all the stuff you might now realize that you ingest either internally or on your skin. So, let’s open our eyes to some healthy lifestyle tips.
Do you remember the old saying ” An Apple a Day, Keeps the Dr’s Away”. Well, maybe an apple a day doesn’t keep the Dr’s away, but learning how to live healthy will help keep them at bay. Keeping your life in check by eating healthy and exercising will not only put your body in a good place but also your mind.
When you head to the grocery store make sure you have a list. Not a list of just this and that, but a list of your weekly meals all planned out along with snacks, so you don’t impulse shop. Don’t forget the coupons too, as saving money also helps you live smart and healthy. Planning meals ahead of time helps you eat healthy as you are not as likely to just grab and go, or make something like a sodium packed boxed meal because you didn’t take out something for dinner. Just a little thought into your food and meal choices can go a long way.
I know that life is busy, and sometimes it is hard to fit in that exercise we all know we need. Some of us have to schedule it into our day. Make it the first thing you do in the morning, or during your lunch break, or after work before you do anything else. No matter what time of day you find to fit in some exercise your body will surely thank you.
Cheers to a healthy life

I needed this post. I complain about not having time all the time yet I can sit or lay down and watch the olympics for hours. :/
Could not agree more. Setting that time aside each day is so important.
These are great tips, thank you!

I need to be preached out! Keep it coming!
I started a diet this week – a lifestyle change – and have been using a specific list with a specific menu plan. I’ve saved so much money already.
That is great to hear. Congrats and keep up the good work.
