Gluten Free foods are becoming a huge deal for many people now days. What is easy is the eating, but what can be a challenge is knowing what to make or how to make it. Many things that one might think are gluten free friendly are not and so having an app that gives you many recipe choices is great! Foodie has a great foodie recipe app that now has a Gluten Free edition on it. A list of recipes for each day of the week to make sure there is something for everyone who gathers around your table.
I am a big sweet potato lover and even though I watch my carbs I try to incorporate them into my meals a couple times a week because I workout hard and need them in moderation. I like sweet potato just about any way they can be prepared, but most of all in the form of fries. I made these yummy Baked Sweet Potato Fries with Rosemary Sea Salt last night, and seriously had to stop myself before I ate the whole batch.
Using a couple sweet potatoes cut into strips, mixed with olive oil and laid out on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper then sprinkled with a mix of sea salt and rosemary (ground together) and baked till done ~ No one can eat just one! YUM!!
However, I think I over did it on the seasoning as mine were a tad salty, but regardless I loved them. Easy, quick and healthy. I saved my leftovers for tonight’s meal. I will add them to my quinoa for my fish side dish.
