After a long ass day in Duluth hubby and I decided to stop someplace new (new to us) and grab a bite to eat. So, since we were driving by Fitger’s we thought we would give the Brewhouse Brewery and Grille a try. We were seated right away in the back part of the eatery and attended to very quickly. Our waitress Sarah was very friendly and took very good care of us.
Tony and I both ordered a cup of soup & a cobb salad. Yeah, not very exciting but that was just what we were in the mood for. Well the salads were a nice size and came with warm pita bread. Yum! The soup must have been a kitchen made soup as it had fresh ingredients in it and was amazing! I can’t remember the name but it was like a chicken noodle but with little dumpling things instead of noodles. I would have to say it was one of the best soups I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The salad was a typical cobb salad but non the less it was very fresh, and just perfect!
Our meal was relaxing and enjoyable and the Brewhouse is very unique. I liked being able to see into the Brewery and just look over all the neat stuff all around us.
After our meal we ordered a big chocolate cookie to share. It was huge!! Almost like 4 cookies in one. It came warm, on a warm plate. Made me feel like a little kid at Grandma’s house getting the cookies right out of the oven.
I would have to say we will for sure be back for dinner again as our visit was a pleasant one. Thanks to Sarah, and the rest of the staff for a great meal.
