Matcha powder is made from finely ground green tea leaves, and contains more antioxidants than green leafy vegetables, blueberries and wheatgrass. It has a high level of chlorophyll, which can help remedy digestive issues and aid with weight loss, as well as theanine, which is considered to improve concentration levels and memory capacity.

Oats are incredibly nutritious and a great source of protein, carbohydrates and fiber. They contain a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, including zinc, magnesium, copper, folate, Vitamin B and polyphenols.

Ingredients (4 servings):
- 1 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder
- 1 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup rice milk (or any other plant-based milk)
- pinch of pink Himalayan salt
- chia seeds, flax seeds
- walnuts, cashews, peanuts
- coconut flakes
- dried cranberries, sultanas, dried dates
- fresh fruit, frozen fruit
- maple syrup, date syrup, honey
- Place a saucepan over medium heat, pour in the rice milk, and bring to a gentle simmer. Then add the oats, Matcha green tea powder and a pinch of salt.
- Keep stirring the whole time so the porridge doesn’t catch on the bottom, and remove it from the heat when the mixture starts to thicken.
- Serve it plain, and let family or friends choose their own toppings. It’s a fun way to enjoy a nutritious meal and let everyone experiment with their own flavors.
