Just like gray hair, wrinkles, kids growing up, jobs coming and going, etc….. Birthdays will come and go! And, another one has for me.
It wasn’t to long ago that I remember thinking that I would never ever ever turn 40. I remember being in my teen years and knowing my Mom was in her upper 30′s and I thought.. wow.. she is old! LOL! Well, next thing I knew I was turning 40. I was not looking forward to that day. But, like everything else in life that we have no control over, it came and went. Now, I just celebrated my 41st Birthday on Sept 9th. Yikes!! Where does time go?
It was a fun weekend, and I spent my time relaxing and enjoying great friends, food, drinks and even did some karaoke 
And, even though last year hubby surprised me with a surprise party, this year he did one better. He surprised me with an awesome Harley Davidson leather jacket. It is one I tried on a couple months ago while we were at our local Harley shop. It matches his jacket and when I put it on he said ” I don’t want us to match! “. Well, if you know anything about Harley clothing you will know it isn’t cheap! So, I came home and started searching on Ebay to see if I could find one cheaper. Couldn’t, so gave up. Really never gave it another thought.
So, Sunday morning I came down the stairs and hubby was sitting at the computer. The day before he had come home from a motorcycle ride in the rain and laid his jacket over one of our bar stools to dry. So, anyhow.. as I walked into the kitchen he yelled and said.. can you grab my jacket for me. So, I headed over to the bar stool, and grabbed him his jacket. I handed it to him and he said “this isn’t my jacket”. I said… Um.. yeah it is. We went back and forth like that for about a minute, and I grabbed it and said.. well who’s is it then and when I grabbed it I realized his jacket didn’t have a hood… and then it hit me… OMG ~ It was my Birthday Gift!! YEAH!!
I love it!! What a surprise!!
